Journal of East Asian Linguistics

The Journal of East Asian Linguistics (JEAL) is an international forum for the analysis of East and Southeast Asian languages and formal linguistic theory edited by C.-T. James Huang, Mamoru Saito, Andrew Simpson and Michael Kenstowicz, with the support of Harvard University, Nanzan University, the University of Southern California and Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Its main goals are to bridge the gap between traditional description and current theoretical research, and to encourage research that allows these languages to play a significant role in shaping general linguistic theory.
