###  Harvard Welcomes Dr. Jonathan Bobaljik as Professor

 We are happy to announce that [Dr. Jonathan Bobaljik](/people/jonathan-bobaljik) has joined the department as a Professor starting this Fall. Professor Bobaljik's main research areas are morphology and syntax. He will be teaching Linguistics 104 (Word Structure) and Linguistics 114 (Morphological Theory I) in the Fall semester. Welcome!

###  Welcome Dr. Masoud Jasbi as College Fellow

 We are excited to announce that [Masoud Jasbi](/people/masoud-jasbi) as the 2018-2019 College Fellow. Jasbi received his PhD in linguistics from Stanford University in 2018. Jasbi's main research is in semantics and language acquisition. He will be teaching Linguistics 83 (Language, Structure &amp; Cognition) and Linguistics 111 (Language Acquisition) in the Fall semester. Welcome!
