### Jenneke Gives Invited Talk at ACAL 48

**[Jenneke van der Wal](/people/jenneke-van-der-wal)** gave an invited talk, titled "The need for an alternative system of nominal licensing in Bantu", at the [48th Annual Conference on African Linguistics](http://www.indiana.edu/~acal48/home.html) (ACAL) that took place at Indiana University, Bloomington, March 30 - April 2.

### Pooja at CUNY 2017

**[Pooja Paul](/people/pooja-paul)** presented her work with Jayden Ziegler and Jesse Snedeker titled "Evidence for incremental processing of only-sentences in adults as well as children" at the [30th Annual CUNY Conference on Human Sentence Processing](https://cuny2017.mit.edu/), a conference that took place at MIT, March 30 - April 2.
