##  **Milenković at two conferences**

 Third-year student Aljoša Milenković gave two talks at two conferences in the past two weeks. On November 29, he gave the talk titled *"Metrical incoherence in Neoštokavian Serbian: Synchrony and diachrony"* at the Formal Descriptions of Slavic Languages ([FDSL 16](https:/sites.google.com/view/fdsl16/home?authuser=0)) at the University of Graz, Austria. On December 4, he gave a talk titled *"Sonority thresholds and phonological change: Presonorant Lengthening in BCMS revisited"* at the 6th Edinburgh Symposium on Historical Phonology ([ESHP 6](http://www.lel.ed.ac.uk/symposium-on-historical-phonology/eshp6/)) at the University of Edinburgh. Huge congrats, Aljoša!

##  **Sağ-Parvardeh at the University of Maryland**

 Our College Fellow Yağmur gave a colloquium talk titled *'Number Marking, (Singular) Kind Reference, and Pseudo-incorporation'* at the University of Maryland on December 8. Congrats, Yağmur!
