 *[The Handbook of Japanese Semantics and Pragmatics](https://www.degruyter.com/view/title/125573)* (De Gruyter Mouton), coedited by Harvard Linguistics affiliated Professor [Wesley Jacobsen](https://ealc.fas.harvard.edu/people/wesley-jacobsen) was recently published. An entry in the *[Handbooks of Japanese Language and Linguistics](https://www.degruyter.com/view/serial/HJLL-B)* series, this volume contains an introduction and two chapters authored by Professor Jacobsen.
