### Harvard at GLOW 40

The following talks featured Harvard presenters at [Generative Linguistics in the Old World](https://glow2017.wordpress.com/) (GLOW) 40 that took place at Leiden University Centre for Linguistics, March 14-18.

### Yimei at ILLC

**[Yimei Xiang](http://scholar.harvard.edu/yxiang/home)** gave two invited talks at the Institute for Logic, Language, and Computation (ILLC) in Amsterdam on March 17. The first, titled "Sensitivity to false answers in interpreting questions under attitudes" was at the [Inquisitive Semantics seminar](https://sites.google.com/site/inquisitivesemantics/seminar). The second, "Composing complex questions: Multi-wh quesitons and questions with quantifiers", was at the [Discourse in Philosophy (DIP) Colloquim](https://www.illc.uva.nl/LoLa/DIP-Colloquium/Archive/event/35098/Composing-complex-questions-Multi-wh-questions-and-questions-with-quantifiers).

### Linguistics Spring Open House

The Spring Open House for potential concentrators is taking place on Wednesday, March 29, from 5pm to 7pm in Boylston Hall (3rd floor). This is a great opportunity to talk to current concentrators, grad students, and faculty, and learn about linguistics. Everyone is welcome!
