 [Yuyin He](/people/yuying-he) gave a talk titled "Non-future Tense vs. Two Null Tenses: A Reconsideration of Plural Eventualities in Different Temporal Locations" ([abstract](https://sites.grenadine.uqam.ca/sites/linguistique/en/nels51/documents/get_document/131), [slides](https://sites.grenadine.uqam.ca/sites/linguistique/en/nels51/documents/get_document/242)) at the 51st meeting of the [North East Linguistic Society](http://nelsconference.org) ([NELS51](https://sites.grenadine.uqam.ca/sites/linguistique/en/nels51/)) on Friday, November 6. NELS51 was hosted by [Université du Québec à Montréal](https://linguistique.uqam.ca) (UQAM), held virtually. Our graduates [Andreea Nicolae](https://www.leibniz-zas.de/en/people/details/nicolae-andreea/andreea-nicolae/) (ZAS) and [Lena Borise](https://scholar.harvard.edu/borise/home) (Research Institute for Linguistics at the Hungarian Academy of Sciences) also gave talks.
