###  Sauerland Receives ERC Synergy Grant

 Visiting Professor to our department Uli Sauerland (also [Vice Director, ZAS](https://www.leibniz-zas.de/de/personen/details/sauerland-uli/uli-sauerland/)) and two of his collaborators at ZAS, [Artemis Alexiadou](https://www.leibniz-zas.de/en/people/details/alexiadou-artemis/alexiadou-artemis/) (Humboldt University of Berlin/ZAS) and [Teresa Guasti](https://www.unimib.it/maria-teresa-guasti) (University of Milano-Bicocca), have been [awarded a Synergy Grant from the European Research Council](https://www.leibniz-zas.de/en/about-us/news/details/news/151-zehn-millionen-euro-um-den-zusammenh/). This grant of over 10 million euros will be used on the project "Realizing Leibniz's Dream: Child Languages as a Mirror of the Mind" to investigate data from 50 languages around the world, a six year project beginning in 2020.
