The Harvard Department of Linguistics would like to welcome Prof. **[C.-T. James Huang](http://www.people.fas.harvard.edu/~ctjhuang/)** back from his sabbatical as we begin the fall 2014 term.

In addition, the Department is excited to share the news that Prof. Huang has been named a [Fellow of the Linguistic Society of America](http://www.linguisticsociety.org/news/2014/08/25/announcing-lsa-fellows-class-2015). Welcome back, Jim, and congratulations!
