Harvard hosted this year's The Southern New England Workshop in Semantics (SNEWS) on Saturday Feb 10. Many excellent semanticists from MIT, UMass, UConn, Yale and Brown presented their work, as well as the following from our own department:
- Jacob Kodner: Interpreting Fragment Answers at the vP Level
- Nofar Rimon: Coordination puzzles
- James Lee: Epistemic directness and commitment in Korean evidentials
- Richard Luo (BA '23): Probing the existence of degree abstraction in Mandarin BI-comparatives
Congratulations to all the presenters and the organising committee (Hayley, Natasha, and James) for their wonderful job!
