Lund to Grammarly

Alumnus Gunnar Lund recently accepted a job as an Analytical Linguist at Grammarly. Dr. Lund defended his dissertation Pluractionality in progress last spring. Congratulations, Gunnar!

Harvard at FoDS

Two talks at Formal Diachronic Semantics 6 (FoDS), hosted by the University of Cologne (Institute for German Language and Literature I – Linguistics) on September 6-7, featured the following talks from Harvard linguistics members:

Gunnar Lund (PhD '21): "From pluractionality to aspect" (invited student speaker)
Tess Monks and Kathryn Davidson: "Demonstrative shift and proximal markedness"

Martin at SuB26

Josh Martin gave a talk titled "A structural source for intersective ambiguity" at Sinn und Bedeutung 26 (SuB 26), hosted by the University of Cologne (Institute of German Language and Literature I and Cologne Center for Language Sciences) on September 8-10.
