The Department of Linguistics Fall Reception is Thursday, September 13 at 5:00 PM, 3rd floor Boylston Hall.  All students, staff, visitors to the department, and faculty are invited!

Harvard Welcomes Dr. Jonathan Bobaljik as Professor

We are happy to announce that Dr. Jonathan Bobaljik has joined the department as a Professor starting this Fall.  Professor Bobaljik's main research areas are morphology and syntax.  He will be teaching Linguistics 104 (Word Structure) and Linguistics 114 (Morphological Theory I) in the Fall semester.  Welcome!

Welcome Dr. Masoud Jasbi as College Fellow

We are excited to announce that Masoud Jasbi as the 2018-2019 College Fellow.  Jasbi received his PhD in linguistics from Stanford University in 2018.  Jasbi's main research is in semantics and language acquisition.  He will be teaching Linguistics 83 (Language, Structure & Cognition) and Linguistics 111 (Language Acquisition) in the Fall semester. Welcome!

Borise Wins 2017-18 Distinguished Teaching Award in Linguistics

Lena Borise won the 2017-18 Distinguished Teaching Award in Linguistics for her tutorial "Prosody and the Syntax-Prosody Interface."  Congratulations, Lena!
