Satik talk at Dilbilim Öğrenci Platformu

Deniz Satik gave an invited talk titled "Genitive Case and Agreement: Asymmetries in Turkic" to the Dilbilim Öğrenci Platformu (Linguistics Student Platform) on March 14 (virtual).  The talk was organized by Ankara University.

Korea Colloquium

The Department of Linguistics is co-sponsoring a talk with the Korea Colloquium next week (March 31).  Yoolim Kim (Korea Foundation Postdoctoral Fellow, Korea Institute) will be giving a talk titled "The Role of Written Language in the Mental Lexicon: Insights from Korean Hangul and Hanja."  The talk will be chaired by Hi-Sun Kim (Senior Preceptor in Korean, Director of the Korean Language Program).
