Graduate Student Workshop
The 3rd Annual Harvard Graduate Student Workshop in Linguistics will take place this Saturday, November 23. All members of the department are welcome to attend. There will be coffee and refreshments prior to the first talk, and lunch will be served in the afternoon in the department lounge. The workshop is co-sponsored by the department and Harvard GSC. Harvard at Phonology 2013
The conference "Phonology 2013" was held at UMass, Amherst last weekend. Professor Kevin Ryan was one of the three invited plenary speakers, his presentation entitled "Onset weight, word weight, and the perceptual interval." Keith Plaster presented a poster on "Conflicting directionality in Persian stress."
