Van Urk Mini-course and Talk
Coppe van Urk visited our department and delivered not only a talk but also a mini-course last week. The mini-course titled 'Explaining the preference for nonconcatenative morphology in Dinka' took place on Wednesday and Thursday, and the talk 'How to be a word in Atara Imere' happened on Friday Nov 17. A reception was also held at Kate Davidson's place afterwards. Thanks so much, Coppe and Kate!
