Congratulations to Hazel Pearson whose paper, 'A Judge-Free Semantics for Predicates of Personal Taste,' will appear in Journal of Semantics.

Congratulations also to Jacopo Romoli, who will present "Variation of Presupposition Projection in Quantified Sentences" with Yasutada Sudo, Danny Fox and Martin Hackl (MIT) at the 18th Amsterdam Colloquium.

This week at Harvard... 

On Wednesday, November 9, 5:00 p.m. in Boylston 105, Robyn Orfitlelli (University of California Los Angeles) will present "A-movement acquisition and typological (in)variation," for the Polinsky Language Science Lab.

Also on Wednesday, November 9, from 12:00-2:00 p.m. Maria Polinsky, Pedro Mateo Pedro, and Lauren Eby Clemens will present "Endangered Languages of Mesoamerica: New Approaches to their Study" at Harvard's David Rockefeller Center for Latin American Studies.
