The NELS42 preliminary program is now available. Congratulations to Harvard’s Nina Radkevich who will present “On locality in contextual allomorphy: Evidence from Mayan” and to Lauren Eby Clemens who will present with Michael Becker (University of Massachusetts) and Andrew Nevins (University College London) “A richer model is not always more accurate: The case of French and Portuguese plurals.” Congratulations also to Alexander (Sasha) Nikolaev who will be giving a talk at the 23rd Annual UCLA Indo-European Conference (WeCIEC). For a sneak peak of Sasha's talk, come to Friday's meeting of the Indo-European Workshop (see below).

On Wednesday, October 19, 5:00 p.m. in Boylston 303, Greg Scontras will lead the Polinsky Lab meeting in a discussion of existentials in Austronesian with implications for Mayan.
