We are pleased to announce the event Romance Languages: Recent Contributions to Linguistic Theory.  The meeting, which will be held virtually, aims at bringing together distinguished researchers to present and discuss recent contributions from Romance languages to our understanding of syntax and semantics. The discussion will focus on several issues related to the interface between syntax and semantics, including projection and interpretation of functional categories within DPs and sentences, information structure, null arguments and anaphoric binding.
