This fall, the Linguistics Department welcomes two first-year graduate students and two new faculty lecturers. If you see them around Boylston, be sure to say hello!

Lab meetings offered by the Department
The Working on Language in the Field (WOLF) Lab meets every Tuesday at 5pm, at 90 Mount Auburn St, 2nd floor. Everyone is invited to come. Please write for HUID entry into 90 Mount Auburn Street.
The Phonetics and Phonology Lab (PhonLab) will have meetings this semester on Fridays from 10:30 am -12 pm (with the exceptions of 9/11 and 10/16). We'll kick things off with a planning meeting this Friday, September 4th, at 90 Mt. Auburn St., Room 021 (in the basement) with bagels and coffee.
The Meaning & Modality (M&M) Lab meetings are held on Thursdays, 1:30-3pm, at 1100 Mass Ave, Room 202.
