Georgian Fieldwork at MIT's Fox Fest

On Saturday, Prof. Tanya Bondarenko and alum of the department Richard Luo (PhD, Yale) gave a talk called "Interpreting Clausal Movement" at Fox Fest, a syntax workshop at MIT in honor of Danny Fox. Their research project, a collaboration with fellow alum Jacob Fernandes (PhD, NYU) and lecturer Kaden Holladay, arose from their fieldwork trip to Georgia in 2025 (pictured). 

Open House October 1

The Open House for undergraduate students will be held on Thursday, October 1 at 5:00-7:00pm in Ticknor Lounge, Boylston 1st floor. New students interested in the field can mingle with current concentrators and other members of the department to learn more about Linguistics at Harvard. Food and refreshments provided!
